第一章 谁建立了纳国斯隆德
贝露故事中，凯勒巩作为一个次级反派角色登场，他与库茹芬挑唆纳国斯隆德的人民，试图打发芬罗德孤身送死；篡夺纳国斯隆德的王位；囚禁露西恩；袭击贝伦……活脱一个搞事精，连自家狗砸欢欢都受不了叛变了。
但是，在中土早期故事线中，凯三他
其实拿着日后牙口的剧本！
今天，我们就打开《中洲历史》，见证凯·牙口·三，如何从一个高风亮节、乐于助人的好青年，一步步变成惹是生非、违法犯罪的搞事精。
首先，是故事发生的主要舞台：纳国斯隆德。
就如中土故事中的绝大部分人物要一变二变三四变，才能找准定位，精灵之国纳国斯隆德的诞生也经历了漫长的变迁。
在《失落的传说》以及长诗《胡林子女之歌》中，它曾以“the Caves of the Rodothlim”的形式出现。此时尚无“纳国斯隆德”之名，此地只是诺姆族（Gnome，后来的诺多）精灵幸存者在某次大战后建立的聚居地，规模远远无法与后期相较。
克里斯托福·托尔金先生在《纳国斯隆德的建立》一节中指出：早期的《胡林子女之歌》并未提及Rodothlim的起源，但可以想象，它与贡多林相仿，皆建于泪雨之战后。后期的故事，如安格班合围、骤火之战、人类进入贝烈瑞安德为诺多精灵王族效力等情节尚未成形。这一阶段，Rodothlim的统治者是欧洛德瑞斯，但他是一个孤立的人物，与其他精灵王子没有血缘关系。

I shall discuss first the 'background'history, which centres on the complex question of the founding of Nargothrond.In the Tale (I I. 81 -- 2) Nargothrond is not named, and is represented by theCaves of the Rodothlim; as in the poem, Orodreth was the chief of these Gnomes,but he was then an isolated figure, and not yet associated in kinship withother princes. Nothing is said there of the origin of the redoubt, but that it was imagined to have arisen (likeGondolin) after the Battle of Unnumbered Tears is, I think, certain, sincein the earliest phase of the legends, as I remarked in commenting on Cilfanon'sTale (I. 242), the entire later history of the long years of the Siege ofAngband, ending with the Battle of Sudden Flame (Dagor Bragollach), of thepassage of Men over the Mountains into Beleriand and their taking service withthe Noldorin Kings, had yet to emerge; indeed these outlines give the effect ofonly a brief time elapsing between the coming of the Noldoli from Kor and theirgreat defeat [in the Battle of: Unnumbered Tears].

这一阶段，纳国斯隆德是凯勒巩与库茹芬所建立的国度。可它究竟建立于何时？
小托：
我父亲在这个片段旁写下标注“在泪雨之战前”。《神话概要》显然晚于《胡林子女之歌》；在它的早期版本中已经存在关于围攻安格班，以及魔苟斯打破安格班合围的描述——尽管是最简单的描述，也没有指出究竟是哪一场战斗结束了安格班合围。彼时，诺姆族、伊尔科林族（《失落的传说》中不属于科尔城、留在中土大地上的精灵）与人类都是分散的……而凯勒巩和库茹芬在北境以南的纳格洛河岸边建立了纳国斯隆德王国。
《神话概要》未修订的草稿中也提到：凯勒巩与库茹芬从纳国斯隆德率军出发参加泪雨之战。他们与梅斯罗斯与梅格洛尔的军队会合，但“到得太晚，未能参与主要的战斗”。他们被击败，退到东南地区并居住了很长时间，没有回到纳国斯隆德。欧洛德瑞斯统治着纳国斯隆德剩下的子民。

对此，小托爷爷倍感懵逼，表达了自己的疑问：

小托懵逼了读者更懵逼，前后情节一并就成了：“凯三和库五从他们泪雨之战后建立的纳国斯隆德带队参加泪雨之战。”这到底是个甚啊？莫不是Time Lord Celegorm and Curufin？
此外，三五出发打仗，欧透明留下来管家也是蛮神奇的设定。不愧是《最早的贝烈瑞安德编年史》时期的好基友，真和谐，看这个版本完全想象不到有朝一日故事会进化成三五搞事，欧透明驱逐之呢。
芬国昐之子图尓巩与菲纳芬（早期名为芬罗德）之子费拉贡德结下了深厚的友谊。菲纳芬的其他儿子：欧洛德瑞斯、安格罗德和安格诺尔却与费诺之子交好，特别是凯勒巩与库茹芬。

欧透明：你们说我烤的肉好吃……唉都怪你俩，好好的搞什么事，憋一肚子坏水抢我哥的纳国斯隆德。
三五：（瞬间变脸）胡扯，是你们抢了我们的纳国斯隆德！
欧透明：翻旧账是吧，那也是你们先抢了我的Rodothlim！
三五：Rodothlim也是我们的！我们出门打个架你转身就自立为王了！你个篡位者！
欧透明：我挥舞着宝钻糊你一脸！看清楚了谁才是篡位者！
（双方撸袖子准备打架）
摊牌：堂叔你怎么不说话。
牙口：反正都是要被格劳龙烧的，吵架有什么用。
摊牌：那个，我爸和三叔他们二打一，小堂叔他不要紧吗？
牙口：不要紧，欧洛德瑞斯喊图林了。你担心下库茹芬吧。
摊牌：Atar别打了！图林要来了，大家都会倒霉的！
……
卡四：我们去帮忙吗？
大梅：不去。纳国的事我想到就头疼。话说我们七个躲在东边树林是要干嘛？
二梅（视频通话中）：游荡，或者防御魔苟斯吧。我觉得挺好，拥有精准定位是何等幸福之事。
六七：那二哥你现在在哪？
二梅：（视频通话中）唔不知啊~
托老留下的这个bug令小托十分困扰。
小托：我能给出的唯一解释就是，我父亲写下诗的1542- 4行时，他的观点是“纳国斯隆德是凯勒巩和库茹芬在泪雨之战后建立的”。这一点非常明确。但当他写到1710 – 15行时，他的想法已经变了。这很寻常……“蕾希安之歌”里故事又变成了另一番模样。所以“凯勒巩和库茹芬逃到南方”指的是他们从结束了安格班合围的那次战役中撤退。“他们现在潜伏在东部的森林中”指的是泪雨之战后的那段时间，就如“概要”所述，这一时期他们不曾回到纳国斯隆德，欧洛德瑞斯当了王。而我父亲在1710-11行旁标注的“在泪雨之战前”，是一个错误。事实上这句话指的是之前的故事（1542行的那个），而不是1710行的新故事。这个解释看上去有些牵强，但也并不比对“精灵宝钻”历史上其他谜题的明确解答更糟……我想不出更好的办法来解决这个难题。

The only explanation that I can put forwardis as follows. When my father wrote lines 1542--4 his view was that Nargothrondwas founded after the Battle of Unnumbered Tears (this is quite explicit). Butwhen he wrote lines 1710 -- 15 the later story was already present. (Therewould be nothing uncharacteristic about this; in the Lay of Leithian the storychanges from one Canto to the next.) Thus when they fled southward refers tothe flight of Celegorm and Curufin from the battle that ended the Leaguer of Angband;they live now lurking... in the forests of the East refers to the period afterthe Battle of Unnumbered Tears, when 'they did not go back to Nargothrond' and'Orodreth ruled the remnant', as stated in the 'Sketch'.* On this view, myfather's note against lines 1710 -- 11('before Nirnaith Unoth') was mistaken --he took the lines to refer to the old story (as 1542 -- 4 certainly do),whereas in fact they refer to the later. This explanation may seem far-fetched,but it is less so than the demonstrably correct solutions to other puzzles inthe history of 'The Silmarillion', and I see no other way out of thedifficulty.

欧洛德瑞斯统治下的Rodothlim。建立于泪雨之战后。
凯勒巩和库茹芬在泪雨之战后建立纳国斯隆德。
凯勒巩和库茹芬在魔苟斯攻破安格班合围后建立纳国斯隆德。之后他们率军参加泪雨之战，留在东方未返。欧洛德瑞斯统治着剩下的诺姆族。
芬罗德（后来改为菲纳芬）之子费拉贡德和他的兄弟安格罗德、安格诺尔以及欧洛德瑞斯在魔苟斯攻破安格班合围后建立纳国斯隆德。凯勒巩和库茹芬也居住于此。
此时的纳国斯隆德（及在此发生的故事）离宝钻中的纳国仍有很——长一段距离。事实上，《蕾希安之歌》的撰写与整理始于1925年，终于1931年。《神话概要》始于1926年，《最早的精灵宝钻》被小托归为1930版。因此，这几份手稿间有着非常紧密的联系。随着“贝伦与露西安”的故事不断变化，费拉贡德、欧洛德瑞斯、凯勒巩和库茹芬都被赋予了完全不同的使命。
